GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

n

The Manager, Global Asset Reliability, will spearhead the implementation of a maintenance optimization and product reliability program for Loram's global operations.
This role is accountable for fostering continuous improvement and introducing an innovative and standardized global approach to asset management in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, the Manager will lead global initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, aiming to achieve measurable improvements in operational performance objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    n
  • Develop comprehensive maintenance strategies and practices centered around maximizing equipment reliability and enhancing efficiency.
  • n
  • Create and implement a global reliability program aimed at improving the resiliency and availability of Loram assets worldwide.
  • n
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the asset management program, ensuring consistency in processes, best practices, and alignment with the team strategies and priorities.
  • n
  • Drive the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability policies, plans, and strategies.
    Lead and direct staff and supporting resources in the application of new methods and processes to achieve higher efficiency, quality, and innovation.

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities.
  • n
  • Lead initiatives across multiple functions fostering organizational improvement, cultural change, and overall process improvements related to asset management and systems reliability.
n
    n
  • Interface with relevant stakeholders to anticipate future needs of the reliability program and support our growth.
  • n
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in predictive technologies and reliability data analysis to assist in root cause analysis, change management review, and execution of corrective action plans.
n
    n
  • Assist customers with internal and external audits and problem resolution.
  • n
  • Participate or lead regulatory surveillance and benchmarking initiatives with global peers & associates to stay abreast of changes in regulations affecting impacted processes and also to identify new ways of working and evolving technologies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally on the direction and oversight for use of the Enterprise Asset Management System.
  • n
  • Support sales and marketing efforts for external parts and service sales with all Loram entities.
  • n
  • Leverage remote monitoring systems to advance predictive maintenance and improve asset life.

REQUIRED
Qualifications:

n

Education:
Bachelor Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Fluid Power, Reliability Engineering and/or Quality)

n


Experience:

n
  • 3
    years experience with advanced maintenance strategies, root cause analysis and asset data analysis
  • Program/Project management experience with a reliability and/or maintenance focus
  • Working knowledge of maintenance & inventory management systems.
  • Data management skills demonstrated through proven ability to use statistical analysis tools as well as interpret and communicate the results of the analysis.
  • Experience working directly with customers
  • Experience traveling both internationally and independently
  • Demonstrate experience in successfully leading and managing change initiatives in complex organizations

Qualifications:

Education:
Master s Degree (Business Administration, and/or Engineering)

Experience:

    n
  • Knowledge of railroad operating & safety rules in foreign countries
  • n
  • Ability to speak any foreign language in addition to English.
  • n
  • Experience with railroad maintenance requirements and processes
  • n
n

Or equivalent combination of education and experience
