CNC Mill Operator

Strom Minnesota is currently looking for a CNC Mill Operator for our client in New Hope, MN. This is a 1st shift opportunity, 6:am-4:30pm M-TH.
Mill Machinist Level 3
Job Overview: Run production on CNC machines, monitor fluid levels in machines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate multiple machines to complete machining of parts to print
Perform in-process inspections and document results as required
Remove rust, burrs or sharp edges as required
Monitor and maintain clean and safe levels of fluid in machines
Perform daily machine and work area cleaning
Conduct proper machine startup and shutdowns
Good working knowledge of basic and repeat set-ups
Prepare and maintain tooling for set-ups and teardowns
Install and change tooling as needed
Perform mechanical and CNC offsets and adjustments
Recommend process improvements
Perform basic CMM inspections as needed
Continually evaluate processes for improvements
Adhere to all departmental and company procedures and policies
Practice and support current ISO procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Stand continuously with occasional walking and sitting
Perform wide range of physical activities ranging from pushing, pulling, lifting heavy objects (up to 30 lbs) and bending
Work with oil and coolants contacting the skin
Follow verbal or written instructions in English
Complete assigned tasks in timely manner
Read and interpret prints/drawings
Proficient use of inspection equipmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
