Our Opportunity
Join our purchasing team! The Buyer will represent the company in the acquisition of goods and services required to assure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Key
Responsibilities:
Purchase assigned materials, supplies and services for the company
Operate consistently with established quality, cost and delivery requirements
Coordinate activities and information with key suppliers and other appropriate personnel
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or technical field
At least 3 years of purchasing experience in a precision manufacturing environment
Knowledge of and experience with a computerized MRP and Kanban purchasing systems
Ability to handle multiple and varied projects
PC skills
Strong planning, communication and negotiation skills
The position also requires a high level of intensity and sense of urgency in completing tasks and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
